In 2022/23 School Year, there are 18 kindergartens under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, with 294 teaching staff, 131 non-teaching staff, 425 school staff, 3927 students. All kindergartens offer AM, PM and whole-day classes, with the grades of K1, K2 and K3. All kindergartens had joined the government’s Free Quality Kindergarten Education programme, so parents can apply to the government for school fee subsidies. Our kindergartens adopt “constructive learning” as the theoretic basis of curriculum design, and employ measures such as “Picture Books Approach”, “Thematic Approach” and “Activity approach”, etc. to enable students to learn under a stimulating environment, cultivate their abilities for social interaction, individual thinking, language, numeric, creativity and intellectual development in other aspects.
